Pre/Post Spray Tan Care

Schedule all manicure, pedicure, facial, waxing and hair appointments. 
Blow dry's are only recommended to be done either prior to or after your first rinse.  
Please shave and wax 24 hours before you're spray tan to avoid open pores that leave a spotty tan. 

Pre-session exfoliation is beyond important. 

24 hours prior to your spray tan, exfoliate with an oil free body scrub. Use an exfoliating wash. 

Take a basic shower the morning of your spray tan. 
Do not apply lotions, creams, or perfumes prior to session. Use deodorant very sparingly, as a harmless green tint can appear when the solution ad deodorant mix. 


Wear dark, loose fitting clothing and open toe sandals, flip-flops or Uggs. Tanning solution will wash off of most fabrics, but may stain nylons, lycra and silk. Cotton is recommended. While your tan is developing, you do not want clothing or footwear that will rub against the skin. 

Cover your car seats with dark or black towel to prevent sweating or streaking. 

Avoid wearing bra, socks or other restrictive clothing immediately after your spray tan session. The looser fitting the better to avoid streaks in the tan while it is developing. It continues to develop up to 24 hours after your first rinse. 

Refrain from showering - 12 hours minimum, but overnight is best. Use old sheets to sleep on at night just incase the bronzer rubs off on sheets, it will wash out but just be aware. Or even a loose fitting onsie for comfort.



Your first shower should be a rinse not using soap. You will notice the temporary bronzer washing away, leaving you beautifully bronzed underneath. Your tan will continue to develop even after the shower, so do not be alarmed if you are not as tan as you expected to be. It will contiueto develop over the next 24 hours. From this point on hydration is key!
